Our Highland Beef...​

Our Scottish Highland cattle are a heritage breed. They have not been designed by nature to grow quick and fat on feed or on herbicided and fertilized pastures. They thrive as foragers in woods and as grazers on wild fields. Their foraging is aided by their multi-functional majestic horns - which are also used as protection from predators and as natural back-scratches.
Their thick, hairy, double coat is a natural insulator. The lean fat of highland cattle is thereby more naturally marbled throughout the animal.
